Bleeding Cool has recently let leak that the Wonder Woman project that Grant Morrison has been working on (and has teased at least once) will be Wonder Woman: Year One.
Due out in 2013, the book will have artwork by Morrison’s collaborator on Seven Soldiers: Bulleteer and Batman Incorporated, Yanick Paquette, who is currently lending his artistic talents to Scott Snyder’s Swamp Thing series.
More details after the break.
If this is true, then why is that image dated for 2000? Also, didn’t Morrison say he’s taking a break with corporate characters?
The image is just to show how Paquette’s WW looks and was a readily available image so I wouldn’t have to use two separate sources, and when Morrison made his announcement he said that he was going to finish off his 16 issues on Action Comics, his 12 issues on Batman Inc, and that he also had about 30 pages of a Wonder Woman story ready, which seems to be this one. Plus he’s doing the Multiversity event that’s due from DC next year.
Ooh, niceness. I’ve always wanted to read some Wonder Woman, and Morrison never fails to deliver.
Now, if only we could get him to finish Seaguy…
