inothernews: That he spent most of the 2011 season almost forgotten, a backup to the backup to the backup catcher, a sometime first baseman, a designated hitter who struggled to hit — that Jorge Posada was all these things when he stepped up to the plate last night and swatted a two-run, game-winning, AL East-clinching single made the moment nothing short of satisfying.  Not just for Jorge, but for Yankee fans everywhere.
