I’m a 21 year old CT resident, Whovian and Tumblr/Internet addict.

I’m a Professional Writing student at Western Connecticut State University.  

I’m pretty obsessed with all sorts of movies and TV shows.  At the moment, my favorite shows are:

  • Doctor Who
  • Torchwood
  • House
  • Firefly
  • Castle
  • American Dad!
  • Blackadder
  • A Bit of Fry & Laurie
  • Fawlty Towers

So, yeah, those are a good chunk of the things I post, right there.

Some of my all-time favorite movies (in no particular order, because they’re all too awesome to rank):

  • Close Encounters of the Third Kind
  • The Prestige
  • Big Fish
  • Jaws
  • The Departed
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

I’m also a big fan of old, classic movies, and run a Classic Movie blog (alongside my Tumblr wife Dani) right over here.

I’m also an avid reader, and I’m not afraid to say that Harry Potter is usually at the top of my favorites list.  I have a reading blog here, where I post about books I’m currently reading/have read/plan on reading.  I also post occasional quotes/tidbits from some of my favorite literary sources.

Along with classic literature, I’m a big fan of comic books, and have been so for the past year.  Some of my favorites are Watchmen, The Flash: Blitz, Kick-Ass, Chew, and V for Vendetta.  
Overall, though, I’m just a huge fan of everything and anything by Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, and J. Michael Straczynski.  My collection isn’t that big at the moment, but it is constantly growing, so I’ll post about that on occasion.

 I’m also a big fan of videogames, especially on the N64; Ocarina of Time is my favorite game ever.  

I have an XBox 360 (gamertag: Ohai MG), and am on it all the time, either watching Netflix or playing a random game (though it’s usually CoD, Halo or L4D2).  Feel free to add me/join in on a game!

I’m learning to play the ukulele.  It’s slow-going, but it’s actually pretty entertaining.

I have a (possibly unhealthy) addiction to soda.  Well…really, I’m addicted to the caffeine, but since I rarely drink coffee, I get most of my caffeine from diet soda.  Diet Cherry Coke Zero FTW.
